Shipping Resumes Next Week!

Hello! It looks like we finally turned the corner, and the temperatures are above freezing at night for the next 2 weeks. We will resume shipping next week, stay tuned for more details, but wanted to give this update pronto.
Also, all broken bottles will be reshipped next week as well.
Thanks again, and excited that it finally warmed up! Spring is on it's way, thank you all again for being so amazingly patient,

Shipping update

Hello everyone!
I just wanted to send another update---several backers have asked me to wait because of the below freezing temperatures. When we shipped the first wave, we several backers had problems with their bottles freezing. I am so sorry about this and we are replacing bottles that were damaged en route and holding off on shipping for another two weeks until it warms up a bit. I wish this weren't the case (really, I can't wait to get these out!) but I want them to get to you all safely and in 1 piece.
A few backers have also asked about shipping address updates---please feel free to update on backerkit, or message me directly.
I know these delays are so frustrating, and I apologize, but promise we will resume as soon as it's safer to ship bottles in the mail---you will get an email before your shipment goes out with tracking and insurance, and I will send another update when we resume. Thanks all again, Robyn
Arctic Air/ Frozen Bottles

Hello guys,
Hope you are having a great weekend. I have some bittersweet news----we are all ready to ship the next wave of backer rewards, but the sub zero temps are doing a whammy on our bottles, and several backers from the first wave have received broken bottles that have frozen enroute. It's not just folks who live in cold locations either---I've had backers in California also tell me this happened because they froze while on their way...must have been a layover at a post office in a cold area.
Several backers have asked me to not ship until the temps warm up, so we are going to hold off on the second wave until things warm up, or at least go above freezing, in mid-Feb.
And, backers who have received broken bottles will get replacements of course!
So sorry again all, this makes me so sad to do this, but I want to make sure everyone gets their bottles in 1 piece! I assure you, all rewards will be going out as soon as it warms up a bit.

Waiting a week because of the cold

Hello all,
It has been so cold here (in the negatives at night) that we are pushing shipping back a week so it warms up a bit (that arctic air does a number on our hot sauce bottles, and I don't want you guys getting broken bottles!)
If you would like me to hold of on shipping even longer because it's super cold where you are, just let me know. You'll get an email with tracking before your order does out, so you'll get a heads up.

Happy New Year! Shipping continues Jan 9, here's the lowdown

Hello! I hope you all had a great holiday and Happy New Year! Thank you all for being so patient as we get these packages ready. Wave 1 has gone out---next wave is the 2 pack level and so on---you will receive an email letting you know what your tracking number is, and your ship date before it goes.
Upcoming ship dates:
Wave 2: Jan 9 (two pack of bottles)
Wave 3: Jan 16 (3-pack of bottles)
Wave 4: Jan 23 (2-pack of bottles and book/ 2-pack of bottles and salts)
and then, we'll just keep chipping away---I will send an update when we have the next waves as well. There are so many moving pieces to this Kickstarter, it's a bit tricky, and I want to get it right---so sorry it has taken SO long, but we have all of the packing supplies in, and are making a new batch of sauce tomorrow for packing this weekend.
A few things to note:
Arctic Air/ Broken Bottles: It's SUPER cold right now, and hot sauce freezes and will burst. This happened to a few shipments in the first wave---if it's frigid (like teens and below) and you don't want to take chances, let me know if you'd like to hold off on shipping your packages until it warms up. I am getting more insulation for these new shipments, to help against the cold, but still...

And lastly, thank you! I feel terrible for how long this has taken, and you all get the medal of patience---but it feels so great knowing these are finally going out. It may take a while to get them all out, but I assure you everyone will get their rewards;) We are a small family farm, and are juggling a lot, so I appreciate your patience and support---and I hope you like the sauce!
