Hello! 

Happy to report that the first wave of shipping packages went out!

Yesterday, we got these off to the post office just before the snowstorm---here's a pic:

Each package contains a free sample of our habanero pepper salt---please don't miss it, it's tucked inside! 

A few backers were wondering why we started with the 1 bottle level----we are still waiting for the packaging materials for USPS Priority mail to arrive. These have been ordered and are taking longer than we hoped with the holidays.

Also, if you haven't already, please let me know if your reward is a gift and we will get it out this week----more details soon as we continue fulfilling, and thanks again!

Hi guys,

Thank you all for being so patient while we prepped for packing and shipping-----good news, we have our team in place and will begin packing orders Sunday and shipping on Monday and Tuesday. 

If you have moved and need to send me your address, direct message me and I will update it. We will start with the one, two, and three bottle folks and work our way down. 

If your reward is a present for the holidays, please message me directly and we will do our absolute best to get it to you before the holidays! 

You will get a shipping label emailed to you if you are in the first wave. If your address is incorrect, please message me and we'll fix this before it ships!

It's been a long road, thank you all! We will continue shipping every week until all rewards are out.

Hot sauce is made/ Shipping starts next week!

Hello!

Exciting news-----the first batch of hot sauce has been made, check out the pallet!

Now, I am figuring out all of the logistics (making labels, getting the right shipping supplies, updating addresses, and how to compensate for the 20% increase in USPS Priority mail shipping rates since we completed our project). We have our crew together and ready----and we will start shipping by the end of next week. Stay tuned for a more fine tuned timeline, and schedule---everyone will get an email notification before their sauce ships, so you have a heads up.

Hello! Just a quick update----the sauces are being made next week---thank you all for bearing with us as we navigated all of these hurdles, and balanced our crazy busy farming season...as soon as the sauces are made, we will get our shipping team together and start getting these out to you!

Local Pickup + NYC Pickup Available, Shipping Starts End of Next Month

Hello! 

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I wanted to share an update on timing, and progress. 

• Recipes have been fine tuned, we are good to go.
• Labels have been created, and are at the bottler.
• Bottler is ready to make sauce at the end of the month.

So, the stars are aligning, there is just one thing left---time to pack and ship everything---correctly. Pepper season is in full swing, and the amount of farming we are doing right now has been all-consuming...I had hoped to fulfill this kickstarter before the pepper harvest began, but there were delays, so I am going to have to wait until frost to start shipping. I hope you understand---we are a small family farm, and the next 4 to 6 weeks are the most intense of the year, but as soon as frost hits by mid-to late October, we will begin fullfillment---there are about 800 packages to ship, plus add-ons, and we do not want to get things mixed up. 

BUT, if anyone is in the PA area, or in NYC, and would like to pick up your reward, I have prototype bottles of Mix Tape and XXXXX Scorpion from the first few test runs, and can get your reward to you. We are at the Union Square Greenmarket on Weds every week until frost, and you can always come visit our farm/ HQ and pick up your reward. 

It kills me how this timing has worked out and I truly apologize...and hope you understand about having to wait just a little longer on fulfillment.
